Guilford Youth A lost 32-0 to an undefeated Clinton squad on Sunday. Guilford's offense was simply outmatched against the solid defense of Clinton. Leading the defense in tackling for Guilford were Derek Vandebovenkamp, Thomas Stokes, Tyler Stokes, Nate Tepley, Frank Ranfone and Ben Fazzina. |

Madison D - 31 vs. Youth Green - 0
Guilford Youth Green took a hard loss at Strong Field Sunday. They never quit. The spirit of the team showed as they took control of the 4th quarter pounding the ball up the middle with the combination of Nick Nero, Daniel McCloskey and Matt Murchinson-Russo. Long runs by Jake Moscarelli and John Altieri behind the blocking of Derek Vanderbovenkamp, Nate Tepley, Thomas Stokes, Matt Eckman, Tony Dinitto, Calvin Hoban and Nick Russello fueled the offense. |

Branford B - 13 vs. Youth Green - 2
In a hard fought and close game, Guilford Youth Green fell to Branford by a score of 13-2. In the loss, Guilford completed several passes and controled the ball well sustaining several long drives. The highlight was a defensive safety scored when John Altieri squeezed through the offensive line to tackle the Branford ball carrier in the end zone. The defense played well giving up only a punt return and onle long run for a touchdown |

Madison B - 34 vs. Youth Green - 8
Guilford Youth Green lost to Madison this Sunday. John Alteiri's long TD run was made possible by Nick Poretta's outstanding play breaking block. Defensive standouts were Nick Apuzzo, Dylan Amble, Nick Mascola, Hayden Page, Ethan Bedel, Nick Bonelli, Vincent Farricielli and Riley Kesserling. Frank Ranfone lead the offense to several impressive drives with the help of Matt Murchinson and Nick Russello. |

East Haven B - 25 vs. Youth Green - 8
Guilford Youth Green played against East Haven to a 25-6 loss. Guilford was led offensively by Frank Ranfone, John Altieri and Ben Fazzina. Korey Carregal had two pass catches. Guilford's only score was a tackle breaking 55 yard run by Fazzina behind great downfield blocking by Derek Van de Bovenkamp, Nate Tepley and Thomas Stokes. The defense, which improved dramatically after halftime and featured an interception by Ranfone, was led by Nick Russello, Calvin Hoban, Jake Moscarelli and Hayden Page. |

East Haven A - 6 vs. Youth Green - 0
Youth Green played a hard fought and tough game against East Haven A. In their first game they did their best and played with heart! The result was a 6-0 loss. The offense behind quarterback Frank Ranfone was lead by a seasoned offensive line including Dan Mcloskey, Nick Nero, Tony DiNitto and Matt Eckman who made fine blocks for the backs. The defense was lead by John Altieri whose spirited play kept Guilford in the game. Calvin Hoban was also a surprise standout for the aggressive Guilford defense. |
