| Game 2: |
Guilford - 14 at Old Saybrook - 0
Another outstanding defensive performance keyed a 14-0 win for the G6 boys in the winds of Old Saybrook. It was a real team defensive effort led by the front line of Chucky Karol, AJ Moscato, Anthony Avallone, Luke (MacAttack) McNamara and Jack Six. Offensively, two second quarter TD tosses from Zach Conover to Chucky Karol followed by hard running extra points by Jake Moscarelli and (Big) Ben Currier accounted for all the points.
Throughout the game, the offense moved the ball effectively - the backfield was able to pick up a number of key first downs right up the middle behind the blocking of center Anthony Avallone and guard Evan Hilgert. A late interception by Mike (Darth) Burchell sealed the deal. It was a big win against a solid and big ball club from Old Saybrook.

| Game 1: |
Guilford - 28 vs. Branford - 0
The G6 boys came out quickly with 2 touchdowns in the opening period and never looked back. Behind strong blocking from Wills Smith and Sean Kellaher a vast array of runners moved the ball well all day long. A dominant defensive performance made it all hold up.
Mike (Darth) Burchell had a key catch from QB Zach Conover to key the first of 3 TD's for Jake Moscarelli in G6's opening drive. Evan Hilgert scored twice on a safety and an extra point and AJ Moscato added the last extra point of the day. Stand out defensive performances by Jack Six and (Big) Ben Currier keyed the shutout.
