Guilford - 0 at Tri-Town - 30
Team 8 went up against the Tr-Town Warriors, last year's conference champs and state semi-finalists. They are a very big and talented team and it showed in their 30-0 victory. What the score does not show is an incredible effort, and actually a pretty good game.
The GYF8 Indians fought hard and caused four fumbles with great hits! A few opening game jitters with a whole bunch of first- time players in their first game, combined with a few missing players put us behind the eight ball. The team takes the practice field again on Monday to prepare for their home-opener next Sunday against the East Haven Yellow-Jackets. See you all there!
